Bu sene toplamda 8 dalda aday gösterilerek dikkatleri üzerine çeken yapım Martin McDonagh'ın yönetmenliğini yaptığı ''The Banshees of Inisherin'' oldu. 

Martin McDonagh'ın yönetmen koltuğunda olduğu bu yapım Altın Küre'nin en prestijli dallarında aday göstterildi. Bunlar; en iyi film, en iyi yönetmen, en iyi senaryo, en iyi müzik, en iyi yardımcı kadın oyuncu ve en iyi yardımcı erkek oyuncu gibi dallarda adaylıklar aldı.
